Dr. MS Ashraf is an alumnus of Lucknow University and a well known name in the field of development research among both the national and international bilateral/donor agencies. He did his post graduation in social work and later PhD in the same subject at Lucknow University.

 

Dr. Ashraf has around fifty years of experience in social Sciences research, teaching and training. Spent about eight years in Research and Teaching (Psychology and Sociology) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and  five years on the Faculty of the Shri Ram Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources, New Delhi. Later, since 15 September 1978 at the Giri Institute of Development Studies, Lucknow, engaged in Interdisciplinary research in the areas of Social Sciences.

Areas of Special interest: Rural Development and the problems in the Implementation of Development Programmes; Role of Infrastructure particularly, Education and Health in the process of Socio-economic Development; Disadvantaged Groups; Problems of Industries in the Unorganized Sector including Handicrafts.

Dr. N. L. Srivastava did his Post Graduation in Psychology from renowned Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and later received his PhD from the same institution. Dr. Srivastava retired as a Director of State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (SIHFW), GoUP.

 

He is a Social development expert with more than 30 years of progressive experience in Training, management, Policy planning and Implementation. Besides, he has extensively worked on drafting different policies i.e. Training policy, Population policy, Health policy, etc and Training manuals and modules on health related issues for field and managerial staff of health department. Developed and introduced Distance Learning Package in Government sector in Uttar Pradesh(First ever developed Distance Learning Module for B.D.O’s and Tehsildars of U.P. at U.P.A.A, Nainital)

He has accreditation with several national and international professional bodies, institutions, universities etc. For instance: Resource Person / Guest Faculty - IIM Lucknow, Academy of Administration - Nainital, ICCMRT, UPAAM, Secretariat Training Institute, IFMRT, Lucknow, NIPCCD, Engineers Training Academy, Kalagarh etc. Dr. Srivastava wrote three books and several papers and articles published in reputed journals. 

Dr Gunasekran C Rajratnam is an alumnus from  Madras University. He is a well known name in the field of research and consultancy among both the national and international bilateral/donor clients. 

 

To be specific, Mr. Gunasekran has more than 30 years of experience in managing research agencies and projects conducting Marketing research, social and behavioral research and Monitoring and Evaluation. Has worked in most states of India and South Africa. He was the first in India to map hidden population sub-groups at risk of HIV and large scale studies on sensitive sexual health behavior; retail outlets and markets, readership and market for different products  and services

Was co-working \Ambassador for India in 2012 and handholds startup businesses and social enterprises. Trains teams and management students in data analysis, designing and conducting research studies and Knowledge Management.

Mr.  Mohd Iliyas is an alumnus of prestigious DAV College Kanpur. After a short stint with Directorate of Industries in Kanpur he started his career with CAG of India for audit of Northern Railways for a couple of years. Mr Iliyas has years of experience of working in various departments of RBI at Kanpur. Longest duration he worked with NABARD, an apex institution of Agriculture and Rural Development.  He has a very rich experience in the projects aimed at developing agripreneurs and entrepreneurs. His field of specialization is community development, social mobilization, micro-credit, financial inclusion in rural areas.

After retirement from active service of NABARD, he worked as senior consultant with UNDP, NABCONS etc. Currently, he is on the panel of Institute of Banking & Personal Services (IBPS) and trustee of some philanthropic institutions and organizations.
